Indoor Skydiving: King of Prussia, PA

On February 3, 2019, as a Christmas gift to our daughter Amanda and her family: Jose, Blake, Christian, and Olivia, we went indoor skydiving at IFly in King of Prussia, PA. While not an inexpensive proposition it was definitely an enjoyable experience for all and Jose even bought flight time for a return visit.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted at the front desk and then directed to the waiting area, where we were able to watch others “fly.” One of the fliers was a seven-year-old girl who had been going there for several years. 5he was quite good, amazing actually! She went up and down, did flips and other tricks, and even high-fived visitors around the tunnel. After about 30 minutes, we were called for our safety briefing and flying instructions, then suited up in our flight suits, as seen below.

One at a time we were Surprising to all of us (the adults anyway) was that Olivia (5 y.o.) and Christian (8 y.o.) seemed to do the best! I being the tallest, at least that’s my reason, seemed to struggle the most. We had two flights each. The first was getting used to the tunnel and learning how to hold your position.. The second flight was similar however the instructor took us to the top of the tunnel on a higher flight. The videos below show us on the second flight. It was a very fun experience and we look forward to going again.
